Graduated in Law from the “La Sapienza” University in Rome in 1993. In 1995 he spent a year as Visiting Student at Linacre College, Oxford University. He has been registered as a lawyer since 1997. In December 2004 he became Associate Professor of Financial Markets and Capital Markets Law and Regulations at the University of Padua. In 2017 he was appointed as arbiter to the Banking and Financial Ombudsman, Turin branch, resigning from the position in October of the same year. He regularly attends and speaks at conferences on banking and financial issues; and is a member of the Scientific Committee of the learned journal Dirittobancario.it.
