Michael Li Bio

Michael joined Maxit Capital in 2020 and has over 16 years of experience in investment banking in the mining sector, previously with Citi, Credit Suisse and BMO. Michael has advised a significant number of Canadian and global mining companies on a wide range of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, including corporate and asset-level deals, joint venture arrangements, and advising both targets and acquirors on hostile transactions. He also has significant experience advising companies across the mining sector on various debt and equity financing transactions. Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen's University. He is a CFA Charterholder and member of the CFA Society Toronto.
