Chris has extensive institutional capital markets, capital formation, business development and M&A experience. He was a partner at Sprott Capital Partners, Managing Director at Primary Capital, Head of Equity Sales and Trading at Dundee Securities and Head of Institutional Equity Sales at Macquarie Canada (formally Orion Securities). At Macquarie, he was central to several large corporate finance transactions in the mining sector, including the raise of over $500 million in equity for Agnico Eagle Mines. Since 2018, Chris was President and then Chair of the Board of Khiron Life Sciences (TSXV:KHRN), where he helped to raised $90 million in equity. He also served as President of TAAL Distributed Information Technologies (CSE:TAAL), a publicly traded provider of blockchain services. TAAL completed a material acquisition and raised $40 million in a prospectus offering, before recently going private. Prior to joining Bay Street, Chris was the founder and CEO of STARTcast Solutions and was President of Global Data Wireless (TSXV:GI) during the emergence of digital wireless. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts from Queen's University and lives in Toronto, Canada.
