Mr. Papazis has over 20 years of investment banking experience, primarily focused on middle market M&A transactions and financings (equity and debt) across various sectors including Industrials, Business Services, Technology, Healthcare and Aerospace & Defense. Prior to Maxim, he was a Managing Director and Head of Aerospace, Defense and Government investment banking at Scott-Macon, a boutique M&A Advisory firm in New York. Mr. Papazis has also held senior level investment banking positions at BTIG, LLC (Investment Banking / M&A), Oppenheimer & Co (Industrial Growth & Services) and Jefferies & Co (Aerospace & Defense) in New York. Mr. Papazis began his career within the Healthcare Investment Banking team at Deutsche Banc Alex Brown in Baltimore. Mr. Papazis has a MA in International Affairs with a concentration in International Finance from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BA from Dartmouth College, with a dual major in Economics and Government.
