George Beckerman joined Marlin & Associates Holding LLC in 2004 and leads M&A’s office in Washington DC. George has advised information and technology companies on strategic direction, acquisitions and divestitures for more than 25 years. During that time, his clientele has included a wide range of companies, large and small, US, Canadian and European, that serve professionals in business, finance, legal, academic and government sectors. His clients have included global corporations as well as businesses owned by entrepreneurs and financial sponsors. George is a graduate of Queens College, City University of New York, and was a National Defense Education Fellow at New York University's Graduate School of Public Administration, during which time he also served on the research and analytics staff at the New York City Temporary Commission on City Finances. George is a frequent speaker at information industry conferences; and from time to time writes for publication. He also is the founder of the Capital Content Network, a Washington DC area forum for information industry executives affiliated with the Software & Information Industry Association and the Specialized Information Publishers Association.
