Nick Baughan has over 30 years of investment banking experience with a focus on raising capital and providing advisory services to emerging growth companies, primarily in the software and technology-enabled services sectors. Prior to co-founding Marks Baughan in 2003, Mr. Baughan was a senior member of the Credit Suisse First Boston Technology Group where he had global responsibility for the firm's Technology Services investment banking effort, based in Palo Alto and NYC. Prior to joining the CSFB Technology Group, Mr. Baughan worked for Thomas Weisel Partners in San Francisco where he focused on advisory services as well as principal investing with a focus on the IT Services sector. Earlier in his career, Mr. Baughan was a Vice President in Salomon Smith Barney's Technology investment banking division and was an Associate in Bear Stearns' Financial Sponsors Group, both based in NYC. Mr. Baughan received a BA from Columbia University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
