Jane Brooks Horn Bio

Jane Brooks Horn is a partner-in-charge of the Tax and Business Services division in the Firm’s Washington, DC metropolitan area offices. Jane came to Marcum via the Firm’s merger with Raffa, P.C., one of the nation’s preeminent public accounting and business consulting firms. She works primarily with entrepreneurs and their business entities, providing consulting services on issues such as federal, state & local tax (SALT) compliance, international tax matters, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, entity selection, and transaction structuring. Her clients include manufacturing, retail, software, real estate and construction, high tech, professional services, and private equity fund entities. Jane advises business owners on short and long-term business and personal financial planning, as well as estate planning that facilitates the orderly transfer of assets to beneficiaries and helps reduce or eliminate taxes
