Bio

Richard Casmirri is a Partner in the Tax and Business Services Division of the Firm’s Philadelphia office. Richard has over 15 years of experience providing financial and tax strategies to private equity funds, real estate partnerships, closely held businesses, and ultra high-net-worth families. He is deeply versed in both high value real estate transactions and high-value generational gifting strategies. Richard began his career in public accounting at a “Big Four” firm. He has also spent time in industry – most recently as a Tax Director at a regional firm providing back office and infrastructure support to private equity and real estate funds. In this role, he oversaw and directed the internal Tax Department team in its support of six separate private equity and real estate investment firms with $15 billion of limited partnership investor commitments across 25 plus separate private equity and real estate funds.
