Sarah Nash, Director, is based in Marathon Capital’s San Francisco office. She is responsible for originating and executing equity capital raise and M&A engagements in the renewables, clean energy, and sustainable infrastructure sectors with a focus on energy services, electrified transportation, and sustainable businesses that facilitate decarbonization. Sarah advised on such transactions as Bluon’s Series B capital raise, EV Connect’s Series C capital raise and ultimate sale to Schneider Electric as well as Black Bear’s sale to one of Blackstone’s portfolio companies, Legence. Before joining Marathon Capital, Sarah held various roles in the renewable energy and cleantech industries, including positions with a London-based renewables boutique investment bank, a vehicle emissions reduction manufacturer, and a cleantech-oriented market research firm. Prior to business school, Sarah was a Senior Analyst with the international private debt placements team at Prudential Capital Group. Sarah holds a BA in Political Science from Vassar College and an MBA from the London Business School. Sarah holds Series 63 and 79 licenses.
