Otilia Tannehill, Director of Compliance & Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, is based in Marathon Capital’s Chicago office. She focuses on overseeing the administration of multiple compliance technology platforms and core compliance functions such as the AML Program and Employee Compliance. She also assists with the refinement and development of compliance policies and processes as Marathon Capital continues expanding into new regulatory areas. She brings with her 23 years of experience in the financial services industry, nine of which are as a compliance professional. Prior to joining Marathon Capital, Oti was Compliance Manager for Harbor Capital Advisors providing support to the legal & compliance team within the investment management compliance division. She led the firm's forensic testing program, developed and implemented a portfolio investment guideline program, and transitioned and onboarded a new compliance monitoring system. Prior to Harbor, she was Compliance Manager for Ziegler Capital Management with oversight of advertising and marketing review, forensic testing, license and registrations, and regulatory filing, and acted as a lead representative of the compliance team for various committee meetings. Prior to joining Ziegler, she had a 14-year career with Stifel Financial as a registered sales associate. Oti received a B.A. in Psychology from DePaul University and holds the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional Designation, IACCP®. She also holds a Series 7 license.
