Bio

Hideki Chida, Director, Head of Japanese Coverage, is responsible for executing M&A and capital raise engagements in the renewable energy and power sectors. Prior to joining Marathon, Mr. Chida was a Senior Associate in the Latin America Project and Structured Finance Group at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation in New York. He was responsible for project finance and advisory services for power and renewables, infrastructure, and natural resources. Mr. Chida holds a BSc in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. Mr. Chida holds Series 63 and 79 licenses. He is fluent in Portuguese, Japanese, English, and Spanish.
