Sughosh is a seasoned senior M&A dealmaker who has led many of the landmark domestic and cross border transactions. Prior to joining MAPE, Sughosh was Managing Director and Head of M&A for Deutsche Bank, India. Before that, he ran the M&A business for Credit Suisse India from 2008 to 2011. Earlier, he was an Executive Director at Kotak during his tenure of 14 years with the firm, leading the advisory services arena. His key transactions include acquisition of strategic stake in Baramulti(Indonesia) by Tata Power, sale of strategic stake in Aston Martin to InvestIndustrial group of Italy, sale of Patni to i-Gate, acquisition of Cairn by Vedanta, finalization of agreement between Heineken and United Spirits group, sale by and subsequent acquisition of Thomas Cook India by parent Thomas Cook, sale of Anchor to Matsushita, acquisition of Punjab Tractors by Mahindra & Mahindra, acquisition of Jeco and Schoneweiss by Mahindra group, among other transactions. Sughosh is a management graduate from IIM Calcutta and has a bachelor's degree in engineering from VNIT.
