Ramprasad has a rich experience of over 20 plus years in driving M&A and capital market transactions and has been engaged in several landmark transactions. Prior to Co-founding MAPE, Ram was Senior Vice President of DSP Merill Lynch heading southern India operations. Ram started his career with Essar Shipping Ltd and was involved in multi fold financing activities and acquisition of South India Shipping Corporation by Essar.Subsequently, he joined DSP Merrill Lynch and was the Senior Vice President heading southern India operations. Ram has been engaged in several landmark transactions including India Cement's acquisition of Raasi Cements, SSi's acquisition of Albion Orion Corporation and Indigo Markets, sale of SPIC Phi seeds to Dupont, acquisition of Tata Group's Hitech Drilling by Aban Loyd, Bank of Madura - ICICI Bank merger and international capital raising programmes of Dr Reddys laboratories, Sify, Satyam Computers and SSi. Ram has a first degree in Chemistry and is an MBA from BIM, Trichy.
