Mir co-founded MPG in 2004 and has been instrumental in driving the strategic growth and direction of the firm. Mir is also the co-founder and Managing Partner of Blue Cloud Ventures, a unique co-investment fund focused on growth and late stage software companies. Mir has executed over 120 fundraising and M&A transactions for high growth companies in a range of sectors including enterprise software, eCommerce, and IT/BPO services. Mir was previously co-founder and Managing Director of GlobalNet Partners, a venture capital fund focused on enterprise software and tech enabled services companies. Prior to GlobalNet, Mir was a Vice President at Bear, Stearns & Co. in its Technology Investment Banking Group, where he was involved in advising and financing some of the early pioneers in eCommerce and new media. Prior to Bear Stearns, Mir was an Associate Director at Peregrine Capital where he developed Peregrine’s corporate finance effort in New York and helped manage the Multinational Advisory Group in Hong Kong. Mir has also previously worked in Bear Stearns & Co.’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group and Oppenheimer & Co.’s Institutional Equity Research Group. Mir has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. in Operations Research from Columbia University. Mir is a Charter Member of TiE.
