Bio

Mark Greenbaum is a Partner and Head of Mergers & Acquisitions of LUMA Partners, a strategic advisory firm with a singular focus on digital media and marketing. Mark is a highly accomplished M&A expert who has spent his entire career providing strategic advice to technology companies. He has been based in Silicon Valley for more than twenty years and is based in LUMA’s Palo Alto office. Prior to LUMA, Mark spent more than a decade at GCA where he was a Managing Director focused on mergers and acquisition and was also a member of the firm’s Management Committee. At GCA, Mark led a number of the firm’s leading transactions across the digital media, software and mobile ecosystems. Prior to GCA, Mark was a Vice President with Morgan Stanley’s technology M&A group in Menlo Park, California, and was previously a manager with Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneurial Services Group based in Palo Alto, California. Mark graduated with honors with a BS in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley where he was a four-year member of the men’s volleyball team. He still considers himself a loyal (if often frustrated) Cal fan. He returned to UC Berkeley’s Walter J. Haas School for his MBA – as apparently he didn’t get it right the first time.
