Bio

Mr. Gaffey joined Loomis & Co. in 2012 after four years as a partner with Bay Capital Advisors and six years as a Senior Vice President of Lehman Brothers. Before that, he worked in an executive capacity for Cohane Rafferty and Salomon Brothers, and was the founder of Capital Strategies Group. Mr. Gaffey has substantial merger and acquisition deal flow experience with banks, thrifts, mortgage banks, and other specialty finance entities. He has also handled the purchase and sale of loan portfolios and mortgage servicing rights, guiding clients through negotiations, due diligence, and financial structures. In addition, he has consulted on asset/liability management, pipeline risk and hedging, and ARM audit software. Mr. Gaffey is a Trustee of Direxion Funds & Direxion ETFs and formerly a board member of A.T. Cross. He also has been an instructor and Board member of various mortgage banking associations.
