Tom provides mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory services for international industrial companies and manages the firm’s strategic efforts in the sector. He has 30 years of experience working with large corporate clients, closely held businesses and private equity firms in marketing and negotiating the sale of industrial manufacturing businesses. Tom has extensive knowledge of cross-border transactions and corporate divestitures, and has advised on public and private financings of debt and equity. Tom has developed a range of transaction experience from working with leading capital goods and industrial machinery manufacturers and has developed significant industry expertise in the construction and agricultural sector. In addition, he has worked on numerous international transactions and works very closely with Lincoln’s top-ranked global industrial team. Prior to joining Lincoln, Tom was Vice President of Corporate Development for SPX Corporation, where he led the acquisition and divestiture of numerous industrial businesses. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch and a Vice President at Continental Illinois National Bank (now Bank of America). Tom earned a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
