As Vice Chairman of Lincoln’s Global Healthcare Group, Shahab manages the firm’s strategic efforts and provides senior-level advisory services on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) for companies in this sector. Shahab has 40 years of experience representing companies in the healthcare industry, providing M&A advisory, capital raising advisory, technology licensing and fairness opinions. Shahab understands the nuances of various healthcare markets and the value drivers of healthcare companies, enabling him to best position these companies to prospective buyers or investors. He has become a trusted advisor to company leaders and financial sponsor professionals, providing strategic guidance and growth. Shahab has experience working with companies in every sector of healthcare. His focus areas include pharma outsourcing and global diagnostics. Shahab serves on the boards for Baylor College of Medicine’s Global Health Initiative and Artielle Therapeutics. Prior to joining Lincoln, Shahab led the healthcare practice of GCA Savvian, where he successfully advised most of the firm’s Japanese merger transactions in the U.S. Previously, Shahab was a senior partner at Vector Securities International, expanding the firm’s healthcare services practice. Shahab began his career with Kidder, Peabody & Co. Shahab earned a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University. He also earned a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts from Cambridge University.
