Edward Hanlon Bio

Ed is a senior banker in Lincoln’s Global Industrial Group. He has 30 years of experience providing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory services to private equity groups, large corporate clients and leading private companies for industrial manufacturing and service businesses. Ed has many large corporate and private equity clients for whom he’s completed multiple transactions. Ed’s experience includes industrial technology, precision components, automation and industrial equipment. He has advised on a significant number of cross-border transactions and corporate divestitures. Prior to co-founding Lincoln in 1996, Ed was an officer in the M&A groups of PaineWebber and Peers & Co. Previously, he worked for Morgan Stanley and as a Certified Public Accountant with Price Waterhouse. Ed earned a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science from Saint Joseph’s University. He was a recipient of the Alexander E. Loeb Gold Medal for placing first in the state of Pennsylvania on the CPA examination.
