Hany has advised healthcare and life sciences companies on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions for the past 35 years. He began his career focused on Mergers and Acquisitions at Merrill Lynch and then UBS. He was the Head of Healthcare Mergers and Acquisitions at Robertson Stephens and Wells Fargo. He was Head of Healthcare Investment Banking at Unterberg Towbin, a technology and healthcare boutique, which was acquired by what is now Canaccord. He has advised on over $20 billion of financing and M&A transactions in the healthcare sector. He received his MBA in Finance and MA in International Studies from the Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania, respectively where he was a Lauder Fellow and his BA from Columbia University in East Asian Studies and Economics.
