Scott Dixon is the Managing Director of LCG’s M&A Technology and Integration practice based in Tampa, FL. He is responsible for overseeing technology due diligence, integration and carve-out due diligence / planning and post-close Integration Management Office (IMO) engagements for private equity groups, lenders and strategic acquirers. He has a wide range of experience in technology, operations, and strategy spanning from pre-close due diligence to portfolio improvements in preparation of exits. Prior to working at LCG, Mr. Dixon spent over 20 years in a technology and management consulting advisory capacity at leading firms, including Booz Allen Hamilton, PwC and RSM. Most recently, at RSM, he worked primarily with private equity clients to carve-out and stand-up new platforms for subsequent serial acquisitions to meet the investment thesis. Mr. Dixon’s teams would manage due diligence, pre-close integration planning, day one readiness, and post-close integration execution for the platform. In addition to managing acquisitive platforms, Mr. Dixon’s team also helped private equity groups buy stand-alone companies and subsequently build-out improved IT departments, operating models and go-to-market functions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Dixon focused on strategy and operations consulting helping corporations and portfolio companies improve their margins and growth trajectories through improved sales, marketing and go-to-market capabilities and supporting operating models. Mr. Dixon earned his MBA in Marketing from Georgia State University and his BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia.
