Steve Pelc Bio

Steve Pelc is a Managing Director and Global Head of Technology Infrastructure for Lazard. His responsibilities include all aspects of technology infrastructure supporting Lazard’s global businesses and footprint, as well as core platform functions forming the foundation for services shared across technology. Prior to joining Lazard, Steve was a Managing Director at both TIAA and TD Bank where he was the head of platform development and engineering supporting all business lines and driving modernization of the technology footprint. Steve began his career at Goldman Sachs where, for many years, he held a number of senior technology and management positions supporting all businesses globally, and where he drove a number of technical innovations for the firm. Steve has an M.A. in mathematics from Columbia University, an MBA from NYU, and a M.Eng/BASc from the University of Toronto in biomedical/electrical engineering.
