Steve Nielsen is a Managing Director and Head of Industrial Technology, North America at Lazard, advising on transactions across sectors including Sensors, Electronic Components, Analytical Instrumentation, Automation, Test, Inspection and Certification (TIC) and Environmental Technologies. Prior to joining Lazard, Steve was a Managing Director and Head of Industrial Technology at Jefferies, where he built and ran the Industrial Technology franchise. Prior to Jefferies, Steve was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, covering Industrial Technology advising on a range of public and private middle market transactions. Earlier in his career, Steve worked at BMO Capital Markets and Houlihan Lokey. Steve received his MBA in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business and his BBA in Management Information Systems from James Madison University.
