Joseph Cassanelli Bio

Joseph R. Cassanelli is a Managing Director and the Co-Head of Lazard's U.S. Financial Institutions Group. He has over 25 years of experience advising on mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Cassanelli is a trusted advisor to a broad range of global financial institutions and leading private equity firms. In addition, he serves as a member of Lazard's Fairness Opinion Committee, Valuation Subcommittee and manages many of Lazard’s private equity relationships. Prior to joining Lazard in 2002, Joseph was with Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and Wasserstein Perella & Co. Joseph also spent several years with Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he specialized in Assurance and Advisory Services. Seton Hall University, W.
