Jeff Baker is a Managing Director and senior member of the Technology group at Lazard. He has more than 15 years of investment banking experience with his coverage focusing on IT and tech-enabled services companies. Prior to joining Lazard, Mr. Baker was a Managing Partner at Drake Star Partners where he ran the IT Services practice. Prior to Drake Star, he was a Vice President at Avendus Capital in New York, where he was responsible for advisory transactions in the IT services and technology segment. Additionally, Mr. Baker worked with Berkery, Noyes & Capstone Partners where he executed mergers and acquisitions focused on technology and technology-enabled business services companies. He started his career with as a data analyst with Rational Software, later acquired by IBM. Mr. Baker has a BA in Political Science from Tufts University and an MBA in Corporate Finance and Strategy from New York University.
