Akshay Dhiman Bio

Akshay Dhiman is a Managing Director in Lazard’s Global Power, Energy & Infrastructure Group. Since joining Lazard in 2016, Akshay has advised clients on various M&A and strategic matters. Akshay was previously an Executive Director in the Energy Investment Banking Group at J.P. Morgan advising clients in the Power & Utility and Midstream/MLP sectors. Earlier in his career, Akshay worked in a strategic marketing function for GE Energy with a focus on evaluating new market entry opportunities, energy policy developments and strategic partnerships. Akshay started his career as a Field Engineer at Schlumberger focused on reservoir evaluation services across exploration, development and mature oil and gas basins for various private sector E&P companies and NOCs. Akshay received a B.Tech in Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur and a MBA from the Yale University School of Management
