Scott Ames is a Vice President and member of the Financial Sponsors Group at Lazard Middle Market. He has significant investment banking experience in M&A and capital markets transactions across a wide variety of sectors. Prior to joining Lazard Middle Market, Mr. Ames spent several years at Craig-Hallum Capital Group where he was involved in a number of M&A advisory transactions and public debt and equity offerings for companies in the business services, consumer, healthcare, industrials and technology sectors. Prior to that, Mr. Ames worked at Wells Fargo in the Financial Institutions Group where he focused on underwriting new debt financings and capital markets opportunities. Mr. Ames received a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of St. Thomas. He was also member of the varsity men's hockey team.
