Mauricio Gómez is a director at Landmark Alantra with over 10 years of experience in financial advisory. Prior to joining Landmark Alantra, Mauricio served as Vice President at Lazard, covering Colombia, Central America and the Caribbean regions, advising multiple clients across the financial services, technology and consumer spaces. Mauricio originally joined Landmark in 2015, supporting the firm’s efforts in the consolidation of the Colombian office. Among others, Mauricio advised MasPlay in the acquisition of Nike’s business in Chile, Grupo Mercantil in the acquisition of a controlling stake in Capital Bank in Panamá, Grupo Bolivar in connection with its share repurchase program, and Weener Plastics Group in the acquisition of Proenfar. Mauricio is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), holds a Masters in Finance Degree from Esade Business School, and dual undergraduate degrees from the Universidad de los Andes in Computer Science and Industrial Engineering
