Prior to co-founding LABS in 2017, Augusto had many years of consolidated experience in private equity, strategic consultancy and management roles. Prior to LABS, he spent 8 years in London at CVC Capital and Oaktree Capital Management where he closed over 20 deals including Ferretti Yacht, Fitness First, Douglas Perfumeries, Sisal, DOC Generici, Synsam, Avast/AVG and many others. Previously, he worked 5 years as C.O.O. at Safilo S.p.A. and 5 years as strategic consultant for McKinsey & Co. after starting his career in Ferrari auto and GE Oil&Gas. Augusto holds a M. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florence and an MBA from SDA Bocconi. He fluently speaks Italian, English and Spanish.
