Bio

Vineet Asthana is a Managing Director in the Technology and Business Services M&A practice (formerly Duff & Phelps), based in New York. Vineet leverages more than 20 years of experience focusing on mergers and acquisitions advisory and corporate finance within the technology and business services industry. Prior to joining Kroll, Vineet served as the Managing Director at Berkery Noyes and led their technology and digital media investment banking practice. Before that, he held the title of Director of Citigroup’s Mergers & Acquisition group and Vice President at Deutsche Bank Media Investment Banking in London. He is well-versed in transaction structuring, execution and board-level communications, having completed more than 60 transactions totaling over $40 billion. Vineet brings a global perspective by having worked in the U.S., London, Middle East and Asia. Further, in 2022, Vineet was recognized in Top 25 Technology Investment Bankers in the U.S. In 2017, he was also selected as a winner of The M&A Advisor’s 40 Under 40 Award, a highly competitive distinction bestowed upon accomplished leaders in the investment banking community. Vineet received an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business and B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College. He is a FINRA Registered Securities Representative (Series 7, 63, 79, 3) and Registered Securities Principal (Series 24). Vineet is also involved in charitable and community organizations. He serves as the Chairman of the Board for the non-profit Khelshala, which is committed to enhancing the future of under-privileged children in India. He focuses on numerous philanthropic initiatives, including sitting on the advisory board of StreetSquash, an inner-city development program for underprivileged children in Harlem in New York. Vineet is also an avid squash player and was the former U.S. National Champion.
