Bio

Michael H. Dolan is Co-President of the Financial Advisory business and a member of the Executive Leadership Team, based in New York. In this role, Michael leverages more than 25 years of valuation experience to oversee the firm’s valuation, transaction advisory services, and investment banking businesses, which enable our clients to measure and maximize value across and throughout the entire deal continuum. Prior to his current role, Michael served as the President of Kroll’s Valuation Advisory Services business, led Kroll’s Latin America business and was the New York City Leader. Throughout his career, Michael has performed valuations for financial reporting, tax and merger and acquisition purposes and has advised some of Kroll’s largest clients on valuation issues. Michael has served as an expert witness and as a third-party arbitrator in numerous valuation matters. Michael has presented on various valuation topics to the legal and financial community and has been a guest lecturer at Columbia Business School and Rutgers University. Michael received a B.S. in business administration from the University of Richmond. He also holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School and an MBA from Boston College Carroll School of Management. Michael is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, as well as a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He has also completed the exam requirements to be Certified in Entity and Intangible Valuations. Michael is on the Board of National Charitable Endowment, which is a 501(c)(3) public charity designed to hold and sponsor donor-advised funds, which provides an easy, effective, and low-cost solution for establishing a giving program.
