Hamish Shah Bio

Hamish Shah is Managing Director in the M&A practice, based in London. Hamish has over 25 years of experience in mid-cap advisory and bulge bracket investment banking. His area of expertise is in European Technology Services including digital transformation, engineering, cyber services, managed service providers, software VARs and asset management. Prior to joining Kroll, Hamish was Managing Director at Stifel and was previously Head of Mid-Cap TMT at Merrill Lynch (BofA). He has worked in diverse sectors including tech services, edtech software, digital media and communications and has expertise across private / public M&A, leveraged finance and ECM. Hamish has an MBA from Manchester Business School and a BA in economics from Manchester University.
