David Galper is a Managing Director and Head of Equity Capital Markets Advisory, based in the New York office. David brings more than 25 years of investment banking, equity capital markets and consulting experience to our firm. He has provided expert counsel to privately held businesses, public companies and financial sponsors on a wide range of corporate finance activities, originating and executing more than 100 equity offerings, M&A mandates and leveraged finance transactions. David has a deep understanding of business models and valuation techniques, and a proven track record of positioning “first-of-a-kind” businesses. Prior to joining Kroll, David founded Locust Hill Advisors, an independent Equity Capital Markets advisory firm providing specialized services to businesses and their financial sponsors across a range of offering types. Before Locust Hill Advisors, David was the founder and CEO of ICR Capital, where he led both the Capital Markets Advisory and Sponsor Coverage practices. Earlier in his career, he led investment banking practices at both KeyBanc Capital Markets and Jefferies, and served as a senior banker at Lehman Brothers. David received his MBA from The Darden School at the University of Virginia and BA in Economics from Gettysburg College. He is a FINRA Series 7, 24, 62 and 63 registered representative.
