David Blowers, Jr. is Co-President of the Financial Advisory practice and a member of the Executive Leadership Team, based in Chicago. In this role, David leverages over 10 years of experience in investment banking and management consulting, as well as deep expertise in strategy, operations and managing large-scale change, to oversee the firm’s valuation, transaction advisory services, and investment banking businesses, which enable our clients to measure and maximize value across and throughout the entire deal continuum. Previously, David served as a Managing Director of Kroll’s Corporate Finance practice where he drove group operations, growth strategy, financial analysis and projections for performance management, design and execution of strategic plans across service lines, and process improvement to support our global leaders. Before joining Kroll, David worked at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he executed strategy, organization design, and digital transformation projects, driving large-scale change in business operations. David built functional expertise in growth strategy, transformation, corporate finance, and operations, advising leadership teams on how to build top-line growth while effectively managing change. He also completed commercial due diligence analyses for private equity clients in the healthcare, consumer, and industrial goods space. Before BCG, he was a member of Kroll, working for the M&A Advisory and Transaction Opinions teams. David was the former Vice President of Steppenwolf Associates theatre and led fundraising for Steppenwolf for Young Adults, an initiative aimed at providing arts education to Chicago Public Schools. David holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with concentrations in Managerial Leadership and Finance. He also holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Michigan.
