Tom Graham is Executive Vice President, Sales Canada. Tom joined Kingsdale Advisors in 2021 as Executive Vice President, Western Canada. He brings over 25 years of financial and capital markets experience, having spent time in leadership positions in both Toronto and Calgary, dealing extensively with public companies and their advisors. Tom leads Kingsdale’s client portfolio in Western Canada, leveraging the talents and capabilities across the company. Tom's extensive regulatory experience makes him unique in the valuable insight he is able to provide corporate clients. Most recently, Tom spent 15 years at the Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) as Director, Corporate Finance, leading a team of accountants, lawyers, geologist, engineers and financial analysts providing services and decisions related to securities offerings, continuous disclosure, governance, and takeover bids and contested transactions to ensure their compliance with securities regulation. He has participated on a number of Canadian Securities Administrator’s policy committees and was active in the formulation and development of rules and policies, blanket orders and legislative amendments in the regulation of the Alberta and Canadian capital markets. Prior to joining the ASC in March 2006, Tom held progressively senior positions with the TMX Group and its predecessors. In his last role, Tom was the Director, Listings at the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and was responsible for the oversight of the TSX listings and corporate finance requirements, as well as the TSX Listings Committee. Tom also worked with Ernst & Young and PwC. Tom is a graduate of the University of Calgary and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants Canada and the Institute of Corporate Directors. In addition to various volunteer activities, Tom has also served on the board of a number of non-profit organizations.
