Bio

Mila Brogan is an executive leader focusing on the areas of board leadership and management, corporate governance structures and processes, strategic transformation and innovation, ESG issues and reporting, and human capital management including organizational culture and DEI. She is an experienced advisor on board assessment and refreshment, change management and restructuring, stakeholder engagement, risk management planning, workforce development and inclusion, corporate communications, and thought leadership strategy. Her experience, both in-house and consulting, includes launching, scaling, pivoting, and managing numerous business lines and oversight of reporting and financial filings. Mila’s background spans cross-functional, cross-industry and cross-sectoral knowledge, having worked with corporations, institutional investors, professional associations, nonprofits, quasi-government, and academic institutions, domestically and internationally. She has managed thought leadership strategy resulting in systemic changes and has developed several professional and executive education programs in corporate governance & ESG. She has served on multiple nonprofit and academic boards, councils, and working groups and has written and spoken globally on topics of corporate governance and ESG. Prior to joining Kingsdale Advisors, Mila Brogan was the Assistant Governance Officer & Director of Issuer & Investor Relations at Broadridge Financial Solutions. She was previously Vice President of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) at the Central Park Conservancy spearheading business transformation and innovation and pivoting the Institute for Urban Park Management at the world's most iconic and visited urban park. She was the COO at the Society for Corporate Governance; Executive Director of corporate governance centers at Yale University and Columbia University, and Deputy Executive Director and Head of Research for the New York State Commission for Public Authority Reform. Additional roles include Director of International Business - NYC Office of the Mayor, Director - United Way BoardServeNYC, and roles in Communications & PR and Journalism. Ms. Brogan holds a Master’s degree in Media, Advocacy and Communications from the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), an M. Phil in International Political Economy from the City University of New York (CUNY), and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Politic Science/History from New York University (NYU), and various certifications in Accelerating Change Readiness and Agility (UC Berkeley), Change Management, Risk Management and Strategic Communications.
