Angela Mago is the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for KeyCorp and is a member of the Executive Leadership team. Angela also serves as management’s liaison for the Compensation and Organization Committee of the Board of Directors for KeyCorp. Angela has a passion for people and has built some of the company’s most productive businesses. She previously served as the President of Key Commercial Bank and Real Estate Capital, responsible for directing strategic growth and business development activities across Key’s footprint for middle market clients and prospects. In addition, she directed business development activities for Key’s commercial real estate clients and prospects nationally. In her 35 years at Key, Angela has served in other leadership roles including Co-Head of Key Corporate Bank and Group Head of KeyBank Real Estate Capital. Angela also led KeyBank Real Estate Capital’s Healthcare and Commercial Mortgage groups. In leading these teams, Angela substantially increased loan originations, non-interest fee income and PPNR by leveraging Key’s differentiated capabilities. She also improved overall business processes by implementing technology, strong performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Angela received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in finance from Case Western Reserve University. Angela serves on the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Commercial and Multifamily Finance Board of Governors. She also serves on the Board of the YWCA of Cleveland, Ohio.
