Bio

Sidney worked in Corporate Finance with the Wallace, Smith Trust Company in Madrid and as Head of Corporate Finance at ABN·AMRO, Spain. Prior to that he was a management consultant, being Partner-in-Charge of Management Consulting with Ernst and Whinney (now Ernst and Young) in Spain and then working with McKinsey and Co. Sidney did several deals in the cable manufacturing industry and gained extensive industrial management experience as President and Managing Director of the Spanish subsidiary of Draka Cables BV, being responsible for three factories. He has also carried out various transactions in the food sector, including the purchase of Frudesa by the Groupe Saint Louis. Sidney is a graduate of Cambridge University and is tri-lingual.
