Before founding Kerburn Rose in 1990, Charles was national head of corporate finance for Moores Rowland, Chartered Accountants, a top 10 international firm of accountants. In addition to leading Kerburn Rose, Charles has acted as part time finance director for two AIM companies, part time corporate finance director for a fully quoted company and a non-executive director of a successful NHS Trust. Charles’s advice has resulted in over 20 companies’ shares being traded on a regulated stock market, and his acquisition services has started some very small public companies on their acquisition journey, each resulting in their share price increasing many times their original amount. Charles is particularly adroit at working with families helping them realise the value of their family companies.
