Kenneth Taratus Bio

Ken Taratus joined KBW in 2016 and is responsible for private placements of debt and equity. From 2012-2016, he was a Managing Director at Raymond James in the private placements group. From 2005-2012, Ken created and ran the debt private placements group at Morgan Keegan and was on the Investment Banking Executive Committee. Prior to that, Ken ran the securitization group at Jefferies. Ken started his investment banking career at Drexel Burnham in the Financial Institutions Group. Ken graduated from the University of North Carolina with majors in English and Economics and received a graduate degree from Harvard Business School.
