Aaron J. Axton joined KBW in 2000 and is a Managing Director in the Depositories Investment Banking Department, serving banks in North America and Europe. Aaron has been providing strategic advice to West Coast banks, thrifts and financial institutions for over 20 years. Aaron is based in the San Francisco office, and specializes in M&A and capital solutions for the financial services industry, having recently advised on several of the largest transactions on the West Coast. He also has significant expertise in strategic advisory work relating to activism defense and restructuring. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.
