Bio

Murat Tastan joined KBW in 2007 and assists Specialty Finance companies with their financing and strategic initiatives. Previously, he was a Vice President at Jefferies & Company, Inc. in the Financial and Business Services Group. Earlier in his career, Murat was an Associate in the M&A group at ABN AMRO Inc. (formerly, ING Barings LLC). He began his career at Salomon Smith Barney Inc. in 1999. Murat received a BS in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 1996 and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis in 1999.
