Mark Stewart Bio

Mark joined Johnston Carmichael in 2016 to head up the firms specialist advisory team and is Managing Partner of our Edinburgh office. He brings 20 years of experience in advising clients on projects in the PFI/PPP and renewable energy markets. In the infrastructure market in Scotland, Mark is advising private sector bidding consortia on the NPD and hub programmes as well as advising on PPP projects on an international basis. As Head of the firm's Energy, Infrastructure and Sustainability team, Mark advises funders, developers, community groups, landowners and estates on projects primarily in the on-shore wind, hydro, solar PV, anaerobic digestion and CHP markets. Mark provides advice to the firms diverse range of clients from feasibility stage through to financial close in the primary market as well as advising on acquisitions and disposals in the secondary market.
