Jay Magee is a Managing Director in JMP Securities’ financial services investment banking group. His areas of focus include auto, consumer, commercial and mortgage finance as well as technology-enabled financial services. Jay joined JMP in July 2005 and has since completed more than 90 middle-market transactions—including public debt and equity financings, private placements and strategic advisory assignments—with an aggregate consideration of nearly $19 billion. Prior to joining JMP, Jay worked in the real estate merchant banking group at Wells Fargo and in the private client group at Merrill Lynch. Jay holds an MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and a BA from Villanova University.
