Sloan Deerin Bio

Prior to joining Janney in 2019, Sloan Deerin was a Principal at FIG Partners LLC, a premier investment banking and research firm specializing in community banks. Before joining FIG Partners, Sloan was a Managing Director at Compass Point Research and Trading LLC. Prior to that, he was a Director of Asset Management in the Office of Financial Stability at the U.S. Department of the Treasury in Washington, D.C. Earlier in his career, Sloan worked for Friedman, Billings and Ramsey, Inc. and Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown, Inc. He has more than 23 years of financial services experience. Sloan earned a B.S. degree from James Madison University.
