Anthony Miller Bio

Tony Miller is President of Janney Montgomery Scott and heads the Firm’s Executive Leadership Team. Tony joined Janney in 2002 and has held progressive leadership roles, including Director of Internal Audit, Treasurer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer where he led the operations, technology, finance, and corporate services divisions. Prior to joining Janney, Tony was with Ernst & Young where he worked exclusively in the company’s Mid-Atlantic Financial Services Assurance practice with a focus on brokerage, mutual fund, investment advisory, and insurance clients. Tony is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Information Systems from Widener University. He is a board member of the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation, and a member of the SIFMA Board of Directors, where he serves on the Private Client & Wealth Management, Capital Markets, and Legal & Compliance subcommittees.
