Jason Wood founded J. Wood Capital Advisors in September of 2013 as an independent capital markets advisory firm with a very specific objective: to help companies evaluate capital structure, and to execute the capital raise in a more efficient manner. Under Jason's leadership, JWCA has advised on capital structure transactions with over $125 billion in transaction value and over 40% all US healthcare and technology convertibles. Jason started in investment banking with J.P. Morgan in 1993. He has worked over 25 years in equity-linked capital markets, including equity derivatives. Prior to founding JWCA, Jason was Head of Equity-Linked Capital Markets for the Americas. Under Jason’s leadership, he led J.P. Morgan to a #1 ranking in nearly every category, including stabilization agent, number of deals, and league table ex-blocks. Jason also is a board member of n-Lorem, a non-profit foundation focused on treatments for nano-rare diseases. Jason graduated from Princeton University cum laude with a B.A. in Economics in 1993. He is a FINRA Registered Representative holding Series 7, 24, 63 and 79 licenses.
