Markus is Managing Partner of Capitalmind and co-founded Capitalmind AG in Switzerland. He has more than 20 years of experience in international M&A and financing transactions for listed and privately-held firms, entrepreneurs and financial investors, focusing on the healthcare, industrial technology and business services sectors. In addition, he brings extensive experience in strategic and business development for principal investment firms and serves as board member to Pfiffner Group (machining solutions). Before Capitalmind, he led the corporate finance business of Affentranger Associates (Zurich) for almost ten years as Managing Partner. Before this, he worked for 5 years as Director in investment banking at Alantra (Zurich) and prior to that in corporate finance at Oaklins (Hamburg) and Deutsche Bank (London/Frankfurt). Markus holds a Master’s degree in Economics from University Bonn and an MBA from SDA Bocconi in Milan. Markus is fluent in English and German and speaks Italian and French.
