Brian is a Director in Intrepid’s Food, Beverage & Agriculture practice. Since joining Intrepid in 2010, Brian has largely focused on branded consumer products and has worked across the firm’s consumer verticals of Food, Beverage & Agriculture, Toys & Giftware, Lifestyle Brands, as well as Personal & Beauty Care. In addition to his deal-related responsibilities, he plays a leading role in the recruiting efforts of the firm. In that capacity, he sets the tone for finding and identifying candidates who embody the Intrepid culture and tenacity. Prior to joining Intrepid, Brian was a Syndication Officer at CapitalSource Finance, where he focused on underwriting and syndicating leverage finance transactions. While at CapitalSource, he syndicated more than 25 loans totaling a value of more than $1.8 billion to 90 unique investors. Brian started his career in investment banking as an Analyst at Mesirow Financial Investment Banking, focusing on merger and acquisition advisory and fairness/solvency opinions.
