and access,
John Lalley has spent over thirty years serving clients and companies in a broad variety of financial management roles. He is an accomplished financial executive with hands-on experience at leveraged companies in good times and bad, including debt restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, treasury, financial and management reporting, information technology, human resources and administration. Most recently he served as restructuring adviser to a private company, negotiating the sale of the company’s assets through a receivership and generating substantially better returns for creditors than the likely liquidation alternative. He also served as interim CFO for a private-equity-owned company as it restructured its operating and capital structure: renegotiated senior and subordinated debt agreements while coordinating a supplemental investment, managed a plant closure and consolidation of production eliminating approximately $1.5 million in overhead costs. Previously, John was CFO of a manufacturer of specialty alloys to the chemical, aluminum and foundry industries. He worked with the CEO in developing and executing strategy – growing the business from a $100 million domestic operation with two locations into a $250 million multinational group with five wholly owned locations, plus a significant investment in a foreign affiliate operating three production facilities. John began his career spending ten years with Ernst & Young, and also spent four years with a major money center bank. John has a BBA degree from the University of Notre Dame, and is a CPA (inactive).
